Repeat Prescriptions

Requests should be made at least 48 hours before you require your prescriptions. Repeat prescriptions will be issued at the doctor’s discretion and are normally for patients on long-term treatment. Requests for prescriptions must be made in writing.

We are unable to take requests to issue prescriptions over the phone.

Please allow two working days before collection and make allowances for weekends and public holidays. Where possible give exact drug names when ordering.

This practice is non-dispensing. Please put your prescription request into the box located in the foyer.

Repeat prescriptions can also be ordered using the NHS Wales App. Please follow the link above to register for this service.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, practice pharmacist, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
